Puzzle Blocks Instructions

Solve the puzzle by arranging the blocks in the pattern shown. Tap and drag a block to move it into place. If a piece doesn’t fit in, tap on it to rotate the position until it fits somewhere on the board. Fill all the empty spaces as quickly as you can to get all three stars and set a new high score!

The amount of puzzles in each level changes as you move on. Some levels may have two or more different puzzles to solve, while others only have one. Keep a close eye on how many moves you make in the levels with multiple puzzles. Your move count doesn’t reset until you complete all the challenges in the level. If you make too many moves, you’ll lose your stars!

Check out our guide on how to get a perfect, three-star score every time.

PUZZLE BLOCKS ANCIENT TIPS & TRICKS

Limit your taps. You’ll lose stars the more you move or rotate the blocks. If you’re striving for a perfect score, you’ll want to plan the block placement carefully to use the least amount of moves. A good way to do this is to start off placing the blocks that don’t need to be rotated, you’ll save a few taps on that alone!

Pick up speed. The quicker you finish the levels, the more points will be added on to your score! Start with placing blocks that don’t need to be rotated. This way, you can immediately drop them on the board and save yourself a second or two. Speed may be a good way to boost your final score, but don’t rush or you’ll risk wasting moves. Take a second to analyze the board first before making a move.

Visualize the final product. Without moving any blocks, take a look at the pattern on the board and try to imagine a way all your blocks can fit in those spaces. You use a move whenever you tap a block, but once you pick it up, you can drag it around the board to see if it fits in anywhere.

Try, try again. You’ll be able to see where your score stands as you play. The stars on the top of the screen will disappear if you make one too many moves. When aiming for three stars, you can reset the level and try again! Be careful: repetition can help you see the patterns quicker. Resetting the level will bring you back to square one if there are more than one puzzles in the level.

Save your hints. You can use a hint by tapping on the lightbulb in the right corner of the screen. However, you’ll want to use these sparingly! If you complete a level without using a hint, it’ll earn you more points. It’s best to save these for when you’re really stuck on a tough level.

Egypt. Ancient Egypt lasted for over 3000 years, making it one of the most powerful empires in history. They were also one of the first civilizations with a written language, using ink to write on ancient paper called papyrus.

Greece. The Ancient Greeks had a rich culture full of creativity and vigor. They made great strides in literature and philosophy, telling stories of mythical beasts and heroes that are still studied in many schools today! Ancient Greece is also the birthplace of the Olympic Games, which started around 700 B.C, and much like today, took place every 4 years.

Persia. The Persian empire was one of the biggest of all ancient civilizations. The Persians conquered lands stretching from northern Africa all the way to parts of Central Asia.
