Loop the City

OK, I thought this game was completely impossible at first...  But, then, I learned the tricks!  Once you know the tricks, I promise, you don't have to guess on this game.  The tricks will ALWAYS tell you what move to make next.  So, how fast can you get at this?  Scroll down for the rules and tricks.

Game Instructions:

Put streets around the numbers so that you make one big loop around the city.  Click around the edges of the blocks to either put streets in or block them off...  But, you have to follow these rules:

1)  The number of walls around a block must match the number written on the block.

2)  The walls must form ONE big loop only.

3)  No "dead end" streets allowed.  No branches can stick out of the loop.

4)  All streets you build must be part of the loop.  There cannot be extra streets.

The game will tell you when you are breaking a rule.

TIP:  If a street should be blocked off, always do it because that will lead to other moves!

This game seems really hard at first, but it's easy once you get used to how it works.  Here are some tricks!

To start, look for 0's:

Then, hit any 3's that are around those 0's:

TIP:  While you're at it, use the tricks below to deal with anything else around those 0's right away.  You will always start with the 0's and work your way out from there.

3's are always really easy to work with:

3's that are together in a row are really fun...  I'll let you figure out why!

For 2's:

TIP:  Remember that 2's always need two streets around them -- and, sometimes, they are on opposite sides.

Other things to watch out for:

Street corners...  because you cannot have any branches that stick out of the loop...

When you see this:

Do this:

It doesn't matter what number is there.  It's just a 1 in this example.

Straight streets...  again, because you cannot have any branches that stick out of the loop...

When you see this:

Do this:

It doesn't matter what the numbers are.

Because you cannot have any dead end streets...
